Counselling and Psychotherapy is a private practice run by Theresa Kelly.
Theresa is an accredited Psychotherapist and Supervisor, accredited with IAHIP and
IACP. Theresa works principally from a Jungian perspective while being
highly influenced by a person-centred approach to therapy. Working
with dreams, sand, poetry and creative imagination, Theresa believes that all
clients know, at an unconscious level, how to resolve current
difficulties or those which have been created by past events in their
Theresa has been working with clients for
the past twenty years in a generalist capacity. Theresa works with adults and children, she also works with couples. Theresa also works as a student counsellor at second level and as a counsellor in Youthreach projects working with teenagers and adolescents. Theresa is an accredited supervisor and works with other therapists in a supervisory capacity.
The role she plays in the therapeutic alliance is to accompany the client on their journey and to witness and empower them to take whatever appropriate actions to enrich their lives. The client is at the centre of the therapeutic alliance.
- Theresa works in accordance with the code of the ethics from the
Irish Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP) and/or
the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative
- Theresa attends regular supervision with accredited Supervisors.

€65 per session and €75 for couple counselling, payment is by cash or cheque. We also provide a sliding scale of payment for those who are on low income.
